John Evans, 57, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Round Rock as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on April 20, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 23-years, Annette; son Jack, 21, and daughter Anna, 18. He is also survived by his mother Sarah Evans of Westminster, Maryland and a sister Jackie Evans of Reisterstown, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his father, Air Force Lt. Colonel Jack Evans. John was a professional and well known as an expert in both the insurance business and the handicap mobility/ accessibility industry. He also served our country for 7-years as a Captain in the United States Air Force. John was a great golfer, fisherman and traveler and had the opportunity to play hundreds of golf courses as he traveled around the World. John was a very, very special person and his many friends will always remember him by the following words and phrases: "big hearted", generous, outgoing, competitive, entrepreneur, "thinks outside the box," "never met a stranger," "could sell ice to the Eskimos," "America's Guest," "Super Dad" and "a loving, never Predictable or Dull Husband." We will all miss you, John T., more than you would ever have guessed and we simply cannot imagine a World without YOU in it. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 11, 2010 at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park, Texas. |
